The Environment was quite pleasing the security personals and the Top American diplomats, U.S. Ambassador Mr. Keating and High Level Indian Government core officers were at RAJGHAT NEW DELHI at the Samadhi of “MAHATMA GANDHI”. The Father of the NATION. To welcome his Excellency, The President of AMERICA Mr. RICHARD NIXON. TO WELCOME HIS Excellency, The President of America Mr. RICHARD NIXON AND HIS Wife pat Nixon And IKE SWAMY my son a 10 years Old Boy from Hyderabad was waiting to receive them at the spot of Sapling Plantation. They arrived in the Bullet Proof American Car Sharp at 5-45 P.M., July 1969. Jointly plant the Gulmohar Tree in REMEMBERANCE OF VISIT TO INDIA, WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF MASTER IKE SWAMY.
The Centre of Attraction and all the news media & video cameras wre focused upon the 10 Years Old IKE SWAMY who received the 1st person, who talked to Astronauts on Planet MOON i.e., THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT MR. NIXON. And IKE also presented a ALBUM OF SKETCHES First Human beings landed on MOON.
The Album of Drawings prepared by Mr. lke Swamy was presented to the President, he opened the book and seen the contents and asked the lad, have you prepared these drawings, lke said Yes, very good then he showed to the press, President asked Mr. lke “What do you like to be, LKE said “AN ARCHITECT LIKE MY FATHER”. “Laugh” President said you will visit America as Student, Businessman, or Diplomat.
PAT NIXON the “First Lady” of America asked me is he your Son ? ‘Yes’ Mom, how he is ‘lke’?, I replied in 1959 when he born at Delhi, I wrote a letter to AMERICAN PRESIDENT, DWIGHT DAVID EXSENHOWER, to White House, Washington D.C.and officially he has permitted to adopt his name “LKE” for my son and blessed with all best wishes. The she came to my wife shook handed and patted little Sato Swamy named after JAPAN’S PRIME MINISTER. The First Woman cosmonaut VALENTINA NIKOLAYEVA TERESHKOVA permitted her name to my daughter and wished her success.
15 MINUTES WITH PRESIDENT NIXON
Mr. Nixon came forward and said you are the father of Master LKE SWAMY? I replied Yes, Sir, He shake handed and asked what are you? I am an Architect & Engineer in C.P.W.D., New Delhi. Mr. Nixon presented Gold Tipped (Four ) pens, first he gave it to ‘LKE’ then to me, and one to my wife and to the small lad SATO we all thanked them.
It was not a dream of 10 years, a reality conceived in 1959, my 1st son born and named after the American President DWIGHT DAVID EISENHOWER’S, NIK NAME “(LKE)”. It is with a view to recalling the friendly and cultural ties between the United States of America and INDIA to possess a statesman like ‘lke’ in INDIA, and solidarity valor liberty and unending democracy.
God has provided me such an opportunities to be with American President and his wife for 15 minutes to discuss and he wished that LKE SWAMY will visit U.S.A. his wishes fulfilled LKE got the Visa joined CLEMSON UNIVERSITY and completed higher studies and established business in NORTH AUGUSTA SOUTH CAROLINA, U.S.A.
The invaluable 15 minutes with American President are unforgettable in my life.
As well the 15 minutes cordial discussion with HIS EXCELLENCY SRI BASUDEV PANDE, PRIME MINISTER OF TRINIADA & TOBAGO and his wife, when I presented the Citation at the INTERNATIONAL VEDIC CONFERENCE, at ATLANTA U.S.A., on October 4th 1996, and he extended the Invitation to visit his country to deliver he discourses on RAMAYANA & BHAGWATGEETA, to that effect he has sent letter on April 18th 1997. Specially when ever I happened to meet such highly elevated people the little time I spent with them, the polite and sweet lovable behavior creates such magnetic effect one will never forget tin life the moments spent with them.
Our beloved President of INDIA, HIS EXCELLENCY SARVEPALLY RADHAKRISHNAN, well know Philosopher, Statesman, a Literary gaint and eminent Politician, I happened to meet him at RASTRAPATHI BHAWAN, New Delhi and at YADAGIRIGUTA, A.P. had thrilling experience to talk such personalities who have profound fountain of knowledge and simplicity, we have to digest their thoughts for our development.
